And being here at Absurvd.com you’ll quickly see the specialities are (ironically) parody and satire in several different guises. So we have blogs, books and public speaking to choose from.

Absurvd.com is not so much the new kid on the blog but more what you’ve been worried has been lurking in the alley all along. It is rooted in a decent history of producing blobs of satirical stuff for various magazines. Now blobs have become blogs and more.

PAPERBACK WRITING

Over the years a number of books have manifested themselves too. More than offcuts found on editors’ floors, these have emerged from the thought process that goes with writing columns for different media. You’ll find them here together with a surprise or two.

PUBLIC SPEAKING

In a very real sense Absurvd.com is all about words and it follows that once words are written they should also be spoken. The talks here are on a wide range of subjects and are designed to entertain. If you’re looking for something specific for your group or audience then get in touch and I’m happy to design a gig around your thoughts. I’ve also been asked several times to be a celebrant so nothing’s out of the question, just ask!
